Lydia Dawson, Manager (BHS, Stage 4)
​
Lydia has completed exams with many of the different equestrian organisations. Including the Irish Pony Club, achieving the highest honors in her B+, H and A tests. As well as Level 1 in the Horse Sport Ireland Coaching program, and Level 4 within British Horse Society examinations.
As part of her training for eventing competitions, Lydia has trained with world renowned coaches such as Yogi Breisner, William Fox-Pitt and Irish Olympian Joseph Murphy.

Lydia has competed up to CCI***(S) level eventing, and has represented Ireland on n umerous Working Hunter Pony Teams. This year Lydia won the Silver Spurs/Dressage Ireland U25 National Champion title.

Lydia runs a competition yard in Kilronan, the yard includes young and more experienced horses who compete at competitions throughout Ireland during the summer months

Jennifer Fagan, (BHS, Stage 3)
Jennifer joined our team many years ago and has been instrumental in the development of training within our facility.
A superb instructor with a great personality, Jenny is a firm favorite with our clients, children and adults alike.
A great confidence giver, Jenny knows precisely how to encourage and draw the best out of each client, so they are always improving.
So whether you are a complete novice or you are improving your riding, you are bound to get the lesson of a lifetime with Jenny.

Lauren Hevey, Instructor (BHS, Stage 3)
Lauren has been part of our team for many years and is instrumental in helping to run the competition yard.
Lauren's vast knowledge of correct riding and drive to get the very best from each student makes her very popular among our advanced riders. They prove to develop their skills daily in the fun and supportive environment she creates in her lessons.
Lauren takes great interest in each rider and can adapt her style of teaching to all levels of riding.
Maeve Furlong (BHS, Stage 2)
Maeve is a new addition to Team Kilronan, and we are so proud to have her on board!
Maeve learned to ride in Kilronan as a child and then continued her education within the horse industry in Thorton Park. She completed her teaching exams there and has now come back to us to become one of our own.
Maeve is a fantastic teacher, her specialty is running our camps during the holidays. Maeve is always cheerful and has excellent knowledge of horse care and management.
